So today I’m (hopefully) going to see The Wolverine and I thought I might give you lovely people a review.
Now I’m no good at that kind of thing, and it’s probably just going to be me rambling on, so I am going to apologise in advance!
So there’s only one thing the boyfriend and I disagree on (apart from the fact that he thinks Superman is better than Batman) and that’s who should pay for certain things. He thinks that he should pay for everything whenever we go out. That includes when we go to the pub.
Now I have been brought up to be independent and to know that I should always be able to pay my own way and not let a partner pay for everything for me. So if I want to go to the cinema or the pub and I have money to pay for it, I will bloody pay. I don’t expect to pay every time, but if I have the money and somebody else doesn’t, I will not let that stop me from going out on a date or to the pub!
However, my boyfriend has been brought up to be a perfect gentleman, who will put up a fight whenever I want to get my purse out to pay for trips to the cinema or the pub. I know he means well and I’m extremely touched that he wants to treat me, but he doesn’t always have the money. We also live in the 21st Century, where it is acceptable for a woman to pay for a meal out, a trip to the pub/cinema and other things, not just the man. Things are becoming a lot more equal between couples!
I am worried he might take it in the wrong way, as if I’m trying to pay for things because I have a steady income, but that’s not the case. It’s me wanting to spend time with him somewhere that’s not my stuffy little room where we nearly pass out from the heat, or him worrying I’ll get bored just because he doesn’t have TV and because when you love someone, you want to do things to create memories. Even if it is an evening down the pub.
Right people, this is an extremely important public announcement that everyone should pay attention to….
LOOK AFTER YOUR GODDAMN DVDS!!!!
Seriously! I absolutely hate it when I buy a pre-owned DVD and open the case to see that the DVD has been through a life of abuse from it’s previous owner! Honestly what do these people put these poor DVDs through?
I take great pride in my DVDs, not just for my own benefit, but if I decide to part from my beloved DVD and allow it to go to another happy home. So I expect this to be the case with everyone who buys DVDs. Because if you mistreat a DVD, not only does it piss off a person who has finally found a DVD they’ve been looking to own for years, but it actually screws you over. One day you’ll think “Hmm I fancy watching this DVD.” So you just stick it straight in your DVD player/games console/laptop without checking the quality of said DVD, get half way through the film and for some reason it starts freezing or skipping. You take it out and realise you, a family member or a friend you lent it to has scratched that poor DVD to hell!
So people please remember treat your DVDs with care!

I know I haven’t put anything on here for bloody ages, and this is only going to be a quick post, but it’s something I need to say….
Right. As we all know, Microsoft and Sony have released all sorts of information on their new consoles and now everyone is deciding on who wins the epic next generation console battle (I think the PS4 is winning at the moment). I’m all for knowing about the new consoles and learning about the perks or downfalls of each one. However I am not all for wasting my money on a brand new console when I have a perfectly good, working console sat at home!!
I don’t understand these people who have to buy these consoles every time they come out just because it’s new! Just do what I do, keep your console until it decides it wants to ruin your life and blow up in your face and then buy the new console! They’ll be cheaper by then as well! I know most of these people are hardcore gamers and need to have the new toy, but you are all being little gaming sheep, following what everyone else is doing and spending far too much money whilst doing it.
And just think about all those poor consoles being discarded and forgotten because their owners have a shiny new toy! You heartless fiends!!

So I’m currently watching Snow White and the Huntsman and I’m 45 mins into it and I’ve already come to the conclusion that this film is complete bollocks.
- Kristen Stewert is in it.
That’s it. This is the main reason why this film is terrible! There are loads of points I could make about why this film sucks the balls of life, but I think we can all agree that Kristen Stewert is why this film should be avoided at all costs. Not even Chris Hemsworth’s beautiful face can make up for her horrific excuse for acting. And I love Chris Hemsworth’s face.
The Dwarves have just pitched up and they’re awesome. One good thing about this movie I guess.

I’m just going to say this now, this is not a post where I rant about some movie, comic or book. This is me being flat out honest about stuff that only one person will ever understand. The title of this post is from a movie/book though. It’s from The Silver Linings Playbook. A film/book that is extremely important to me.
I watched this film tonight, and I’m not going to lie, I spent most of my time in tears because it was the second time I watched it. The first time was with an extremely important and special person to me.
You knew how much I wanted to watch it, so you were naughty, got a pirate copy and surprised me with the DVD and ice-cream.
Recently we’ve been arguing. A lot. We made promises we couldn’t keep and lies were told. I’ve made you angry and you made me cry. A lot. But watching Silver Linings made me miss you so much more than I usually do because it reminds me of the night that you surprised me. And then that makes me remember all the nights you made me smile or even cry from being happy.
When I remember those times, I get upset, because it’s normally after we’ve had a big argument, and then all I want to do is curl up in your arms and tell you I’m sorry.
Sorry for being a total bitch, sorry for shouting at you and getting angry when I shouldn’t have. Sorry for saying all those horrific things to you. I didn’t mean to be so horrible to you. I didn’t mean any of those things that I said. I just hope you know that. I can’t promise you that I won’t get angry or upset and I can’t promise you that I won’t say those things again because of my anger. But I can promise you one thing: I love you.
I know that doesn’t really mean a lot when it comes down to it, but it’s one thing that has never changed.
I can’t lose you. You’re my best friend. And I love you. That’s a pretty big deal for me.
I just want there to be a silver lining for us.
So it’s Easter Sunday and I’m sat with the family chilling out in the living room and the step-dad has control of the remote. Now this only means one thing: We’re all watching something that no-one else wants to…. James Bond.
Don’t get me wrong, the James Bond movies are awesome… When you’ve watched them once and when they’re not on TV every single bloody weekend! Or everyday thanks to Sky and Skyfall. Yes, ok I get it, there’s a new Bond movie, but that does not mean that there needs to be a Bond movie channel and endless amount of advertising! I don’t care what laptop he ‘uses’ in the new movie and I really don’t want to date a guy who thinks he’s that cool that he’ll spend a ridiculous amount of money on some stupid smelling aftershave!
I really don’t see why at least one of the movies has to be on TV nearly every single weekend. It’s not like he does anything different. He gets sent to a country to go kill someone, he either gets distracted or played by some women who he gets emotionally attached to, so then she gets killed and he goes on some crazy revenge killing spree before actually doing his bloody job! The only things that change in the movies is the location, the way he kills someone (well sometimes) and the hair colour of whatever bird he ends up bedding.
Basically, what I’m trying to say is that, in my eyes, James Bond is completely overplayed and overrated.
So I’m sat here watching Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and it got me thinking about the fact that Disney are making yet ANOTHER movie. This is extremely unnecessary due to the fact that the 3rd film was pointlessly long and also very mediocre. To be quite honest, the 4th one doesn’t even exist in my eyes. It’s only redeeming quality is that they finally decided to keep the poor excuse of a love storyline that is good old Will’s & Lizzy as far away from Cap’n Jack as you could possibly get. However they made a man fall in love with a mermaid and tried to give our wonderful Captain a love interest… One word for this: FAIL!
Also, the only good thing about these movies are the pirates. They have the best lines and scenes. Especially Jack (well duh!). Honestly it’s as if the writers spent the first few months paying so much attention to the pirates scripts, then they added the little bits of added dialogue for the smaller characters and then they finally decided that Will and Lizzy needed some form of dialogue seeing as they’re part of the main story. I am so glad they axed them after the 3rd film!
Luckily we don’t have to worry about this silly attempt at keeping the Pirates franchise alive until 2015 and hopefully the beautiful Mr. Depp shall bless our screens before donning his rather sexy pirate persona.
